5th grade service projects

So this year Devin is in 5th grade, which is really creeping me out because I still remember being in 5th grade. Anywho, teachers of our generation have decided that 5th graders are old enough to give back to their community and they will do 3 service projects this year. Me being the mean mom I am, I'm going to make Devin do the project himself. He came up with the idea of a food drive for the animal shelter. Quite creative if I do say so. And has been working out all the logistics of everything and asking for help where needed. We did his poster and he wrote the info all by himself.
